As part of the Network Monetization Platform team, you will be at the forefront of innovation in the telecommunications industry helping to curate an ecosystem around our Network as Code platform as well as drive communication on our thought leadership.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for using automation tools to monitor and observe software reliability in the production environment. The candidate should be familiar with the software development and DevOps with the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where quality, creativity, and accountability are expected

8+ years of relevant experience in programmingAbility to program using one or more high-level languages, such as Python, Java, C/C++, Ruby, and JavaScriptExperience with distributed computing, storage technologies and dynamic resource management frameworks such as KubernetesFamiliar with working with public cloud platforms such as ASW, GCP and AzureProactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement Knowledge and experience with CI/CD implementation, DevOps concepts, best practices and tooling (e.g. Jenkins)Knowledge of Automation scripting and tooling frameworks such as Ansible, Terraform and CrossplaneSound knowledge of operating Systems and containers (Docker & Kubernetes – Helm)Good Knowledge of VPN, VPC and enterprise networking environment (e.g VPC peering, IPsec tunneling, Openconnect etc.)Run the production environment on the cloud by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system healthBuild software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applicationsBuild and manage the cloud infrastructure for the production environmentBuild, own and manage the CD pipelines interlocking with development teams to complete the CI/CD framework using appropriate tools such as JenkinsImprove reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our suite of software solutionsMeasure and optimize system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating for continual improvementProvide primary operational support and engineering for our distributed software applicationsGather and analyze metrics from operating systems as well as applications to assist in performance tuning and fault findingPartner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release proceduresParticipate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planningCreate sustainable systems and services through automation Balance feature development speed and reliability with well-defined service-level objectives
