**Job Description:**
Responsible for monitoring and ensuring the availability of all enterprise services while leading major incident management and incident response activities. This role is critical to the proactive identification, resolution, and prevention of service disruptions across the enterprise.

**NOC Engineer**
Hiring Salary Range: $106,700-$135,550
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary outside of the posted hiring salary range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Continuously monitor the performance and availability of all enterprise services, including network infrastructure, servers, applications, and critical business systems.
+ Utilize advanced monitoring tools and dashboards to proactively detect and address anomalies or potential outages before they impact business operations.
+ Define and maintain service-level thresholds and alerting mechanisms to ensure consistent system performance and availability.
+ Perform diagnostics on network, systems, and application infrastructure to resolve issues effectively.
+ Participate in routine maintenance tasks, including system patches, upgrades, and optimization activities, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate documentation of enterprise services, configurations, and operational procedures.
+ Lead the coordination and resolution of high-severity incidents affecting enterprise services, driving rapid recovery and root cause identification.
+ Act as the central point of communication for stakeholders during major incidents, ensuring timely updates and alignment on resolution plans.
+ Conduct after-action reviews, documenting lessons learned and implementing recommendations to enhance incident management processes.
+ Serve as the first responder to enterprise-wide service issues, ensuring accurate categorization, prioritization, and escalation.
+ Develop and execute incident response strategies to address a broad range of service disruptions, from infrastructure failures to application outages.
+ Track and analyze incident trends, providing insights to improve monitoring, response, and prevention capabilities.
+ Partner with business units to define availability requirements and ensure alignment with service-level agreements (SLAs).
+ Continuously evaluate system resilience and redundancy to mitigate risks to service availability.
+ Proactively identify opportunities for optimization and automation to enhance service performance.
+ Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures and attain knowledge and remain knowledgeable of regulations, laws, standards, and best practices applicable to functional area.
+ Because Tri-State has an obligation to provide continuous, reliable electric service to its customers, the ability to work overtime at any time of the day or week is considered an essential function of the job.

**Qualifications:**
Education and Training:
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
+ Proven expertise in handling major incidents and ensuring high availability of enterprise services.
Skills:
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across technical and business teams.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on root cause identification and resolution.
+ Ability to perform under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
+ High attention to detail, commitment to service excellence and continuous improvement.
Other:
+ Availability for on-call support and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
+ Willingness to travel as required for training and meetings throughout service territory.
+ Must be able to perform all essential functions of the job.
