The ITOps team deploys and maintains systems, hardware, software, and technology for all business units. **Job Overview** As a NOC Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the stability of cloud-based infrastructures, ensuring uninterrupted service for clients. You will play a key role in identifying and resolving technical issues, optimizing monitoring systems, and contributing to the operational efficiency of Azure and AWS environments. This role requires technical expertise, proactive problem-solving, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain high performance and availability across platforms. **Key Responsibilities** + Monitor Azure and AWS environments using advanced tools and dashboards to detect and address system health issues. + Proactively identify and escalate potential problems to prevent service interruptions. + Respond to incidents, analyze root causes, and ensure timely resolution to minimize downtime. + Maintain accurate incident logs and reporting documentation. + Develop and maintain monitoring dashboards and alert systems to ensure effective detection of issues. + Continuously improve alerts to reduce false positives and enhance operational efficiency. + Support hybrid and multi-cloud environments by ensuring seamless integration and functionality. + Assist in deploying and maintaining cloud-based solutions across Azure and AWS platforms. + Use automation tools and scripting to streamline repetitive operational tasks and improve efficiency. + Assist in implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM or Terraform as part of the operational workflow. + Work closely with senior engineers, development teams, and other stakeholders to ensure operational objectives are met. + Provide support during planned maintenance and system upgrades to minimize service impact. + Maintain and update operational runbooks, process documentation, and system configurations. **Required Skills and Experience** + 3 to 5 years of experience in cloud or NOC operations. + Hands-on experience with Azure and AWS environments and related monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic, logging tools). + Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM or Terraform. + Basic scripting experience with tools such as PowerShell or Python. + Experience in developing and maintaining dashboards and alerts for system health monitoring. + Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to resolve technical issues efficiently. + Knowledge of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS concepts and hybrid/multi-cloud architectures. + Understanding of incident management processes and best practices. + Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. + Strong communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and document processes. **The guiding principles for success at Norstella:** **01: Bold, Passionate, Mission-First** We have a lofty mission to Smooth Access to Life Saving Therapies and we will get there by being bold and passionate about the mission and our clients.
