Nocturnal Hospitalist Job Description

General Practice Information:

Bozeman Health Medical Group now hiring a full time Nocturnal Hospital Medicine physician. This full-time candidate must be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine. We seek someone with at least 3-5 years of hospital medicine experience but will consider candidates who are practicing full spectrum Internal Medicine.

 

Our practice offers:

Variable block scheduling with shift lengths 12 hours.

Averaging 10 night shifts per month

Currently 22 Physicians

5 rounding teams (avg daily census 12-15 patients)

Open ICU with 24/7 coverage by Intensivists
 

Organization facts:

Bozeman Health, governed by a community board of directors, is responsible for the flagship Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital, Bozeman Health Medical Group, Highland Park Medical Campus, and Bozeman Health Big Sky Medical Center. The integrated health system also includes Bozeman Health Hillcrest Senior Living with independent and assisted living facilities, a clinical research group and Bozeman Health Urgent Care. Today, Bozeman Health is the largest private employer in Gallatin Valley with more than 2,400 employees. 

 

The hospital is a 125-bed facility with 10 ORs, 20 bed Critical care unit, and 25 bed ED.  Approximately 28,000 ED visits per year.  A new NICU opened in 2021 as part of a comprehensive women and children’s care system.

 

The hospital has level III ACS Trauma Center designation and is DNV accredited. There are approximately 260 physicians on the medical staff representing a broad spectrum of both medical and surgical specialties. 

 

Compensation and benefits:

This is an employed salaried position, with additional incentive and quality compensation. Relocation expense assistance and sign-on bonus is available. The position also includes a comprehensive benefit package including:
