Medical management and care of patients in the Medicine Inpatient units Medical management of patients awaiting admission to Medicine Inpatient Units in the Emergency Department and Designated patient hold areas Attend to consultations and referrals as needed Provide education and training to residents, medical student staff and junior members of the medical team Collaboration with facility-wide departments as required Participation in hospital-wide performance and quality improvement projects and patient safety initiatives
