Kforce has a client that is seeking a Hybrid Node JS Developer to join their team in Sandy Springs, GA. Responsibilities: * Node JS Developer will develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend services using Node.js, Express, and related frameworks * Design and implement RESTful & GraphQL APIs to support front-end applications and third-party integrations * Optimize performance by improving database queries, API response times, and caching strategies * Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval * Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end engineers, DevOps, and product teams to define API specifications and integration points * Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT, OAuth, or other security best practices * As a Node JS Developer, you will ensure code quality through automated testing (unit, integration, and functional tests) * Work with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for deployments, monitoring, and scaling infrastructure * Follow Agile development methodologies and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
