Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Blockchain technology and a strong background in Store Operations. This role is based in our office and operates during day shifts. The candidate will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our software solutions ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain software solutions using Blockchain technology to enhance store operations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.Help maintain code quality organization and automation.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering design development testing and deployment.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.Work closely with product managers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Develop and execute unit tests to ensure the reliability of the software.Document software designs and code to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintenance.Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

Possess a strong understanding of Blockchain technology and its applications in store operations.Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with a focus on Blockchain.Demonstrate expertise in programming languages such as Java C++ or Python.Show proficiency in developing and maintaining distributed systems.Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.Have experience with version control systems like Git.Display excellent communication and collaboration skills.Hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.Possess a solid understanding of software development methodologies including Agile and Scrum.Have experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.Show familiarity with database technologies like SQL and NoSQL.Demonstrate the ability to write clean maintainable and efficient code.Have a passion for learning and staying updated with emerging technologies.
