You'll have... 

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering, or related field of study3+ years of automotive industry experience with NVH and vehicle sound package development2+ years experience with SEA modeling of sound package contentProficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Experience with 3D CAD systems (3DExperience or Teamcenter Visualization preferred)Strong analytical and problem solving skillsHighly motivated self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently.

Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering, or related field of studyFamiliarity with acoustic NVH materials (absorbers, blockers, mastic, etc)

This position is a range of salary grades 6-8.

Relocation is available for this position.

What you'll do...


• Lead Vehicle NVH airborne sensitivity sound package development, design verification, and issue resolution across multiple vehicle programs, through all phases of a program.
• Develop full vehicle sound package systems that meet vehicle airborne sensitivity targets, and are optimized for NVH performance, cost, and weight. 
• Work closely with Design & Release team, Suppliers, Cross-Attribute NVH engineers (powertrain, road noise, wind noise, etc), CAE analytical team, and Program teams to design and implement sound package into vehicles.
• Create test plans and work with component-level and vehicle-level airborne sensitivity labs to prepare and execute tests.
• Analyze and summarize data to report out results and recommended next steps in technical reviews.
• Support vehicle-level drive evaluations to assess sound package proposals.
• Work will primarily be done on-site (i.e. not remote), collaborating with team members, working on parts and vehicles in the test garage and labs.
