SUMMARY
BSGI is looking for experienced non-certified operators for our contract at the Bee Tree Reservoir in NC.
ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned.
Check chemical levels and refill or replace containersCheck water levels and pump operationsRun routine laboratory tests every two hours to determine proper chemical treatmentMaintain plant recordsObserves and inspects plant quality of raw water and all plant equipmentCollects water samples and sends/delivers them to Tarrant County Health LaboratoryMaintains chemical feed pumps to ensure proper dosage of chemicals Backwash filters as requiredMust be capable of using push mower and tractor mower to maintain facility groundsWill be responsible for keeping buildings and work areas cleanWill assist in minor maintenance on machinery and equipmentPrepare daily reports on plant operations and controlsAbilit to move 40 pound bags and 55 pound buckets of chemicalsWill be subject to emergency call-outs as neededMust be available to work any shift either day or night as the Plant is a 24/7 facility Performs routine grounds and building maintenance QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time. Climbing, cleaning, crawling, driving, holding tools, kneeling, pulling/pushing equipment. Must be able to hear radio transmissions, see equipment and gauges, stand for long periods of time and lift up to 60 lbs.

This position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation “safety-sensitive” functions.WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The job is performed in extreme cold and hot temperatures, working outdoors and in confined spaces. This position also has some exposure to chemicals and toxic waste hazards.

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
