AmeriHome Mortgage is looking for a Non-Delegated Correspondent Account Executive to further develop AmeriHome’s client base across the nation. This position will report to the SVP Sales and will be expected to source, close and train Non-Delegated Correspondent prospects. The candidate will ideally be located in the Pacific Northwest and be expected to work from their home office, calling on existing contacts as well as those provided by AmeriHome’s Sales Development team. This is a great opportunity for a driven individual to develop a large book of business.• Source clients from existing book of business
• Continuously develop new leads provided by the Sales Development team
• Using the Salesforce.com platform, manage leads through the sales funnel, logging activity and completing prospect data
• Work with the Client Support team to ensure new clients are trained and skilled at understanding AmeriHome’s products, processes and technology tools
• Work with clients to resolve administrative and loan level issues and understand the escalation process for loans requiring advanced resources
• Work with sales support and operations teams to ensure successful client experiences
• Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets – new clients, funding volume
What you'll need:
• Minimum 3 years work experience in Wholesale and/or Non-Delegated Correspondent sales, with a proven track record and results
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of the mortgage industry and the various origination channels
• Professional approach to sales, including relationship selling
• History of being a proactive and independent self-starter
• Team oriented attitude
• Solid understanding of mortgage products, regulatory compliance and underwriting guidelines
• Proven track record of success in developing and nurturing clients
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with executives, peers and associates
• Ability to solve complex issues independently, timely and under pressure
• Critical thinking with a creative mindset
