Key Responsibilities

Ensures that specific project and program objectives are defined for areas of responsibility, and that necessary preliminary activities (e.g., determination of outcomes, milestones, viability studies, and resource planning, among others) are completed to allow for effectiveness and focus during later stages of completion.

Ensures that all projects and programs assigned are completed in accordance with predetermined requirements, with specific attention to product/process specifications, project/program costs, resource utilization, and timeliness for completion.

Ensures that all phases of project, program and/or process development are documented and that information required in other functional areas is reported, disseminated, or transferred, as appropriate. Ensures compliance with Company policies regarding Engineering/Lab notebooks, patents, confidentiality and safety.

Ensures that the utilization of all material and financial resources is carried out in an effective manner.

Effectively  work with other staff to maximize productivity for the project / program.

Spearheads research and development of new technologies, as appropriate, and ensures that newly created processes, designs, and/or methodologies are incorporated into Applied Materials products/services, and/or disseminated to other areas as needed.

Business Process Architect – End to End Integrated Processes

The Business Process Architect drives the functional alignment between strategic goals and key business decisions regarding products and services; partners and suppliers; organization; capabilities; and key business and IT initiatives. The primary focus of this person's work includes the analysis of business motivations and business operations, using business analysis frameworks and related networks that link these aspects of the enterprise together.

Specific Responsibilities/Duties:

Drive process standardization & business metrics within their process areaManage project planning, work breakdown, and time trackingBenchmark end-to-end best practiceSign-off detailed design on timeResolve all process integration gaps and escalations Identify & mitigate risk w/ signed off plan Vet customizationsDocument integrated process/value stream mapping Drive training content and documentation of transactions  Initiate and partner on integration test strategy, plan, scripts and testingOn-time sign-off of integrated solution with Business Unit Exec.Mgmt.  Supports driving user acceptance of changeProvides Post Go-Live Support

Required Skills/Experience:

Extensive Business Process, Planning (MRP), Manufacturing and Logistics in SAP, Transportation Management System (hands-on & systems)Leadership and driving decisions across the organization (downward, across, upward) Deep functional knowledge and SAP solution development skills Cross functional knowledgeStrong project and matrixed managementBusiness process mapping and redesignDedication: 100% (across strategic and tactical responsibilities for program and project)Self-starter, independent and self-drivenAbility to work well in a team environment extensively both upwards and downwards in the organizationCapacity to collaborate with diverse stakeholdersWorking knowledge of logistics operationsBusiness acumenStrong analytic capabilitiesStrong communication skills (written and oral)Highly organizedAbility to visualize complex systems
