Job Brief

This position will safety and efficiently manufacture a quality product by hand and use of automated system. The position is also responsible for properly stocking manufacturing areas and preparing product for shipping.

Starting pay is $24.92 an hour

What You’ll Do

As the Universal Nonel Operator, you will safety and efficiently manufacture a quality product by hand and use of automated system. The position is also responsible for properly stocking manufacturing areas and preparing product for shipping. Other duties will include:​

Manufacture a quality NONEL product. Focus on improving safety and quality and minimize the impact to current production Responsible for properly stocking manufacturing areas and preparing product for shipping. Must complete proper documentation and balances while maintain a clean and organized work area. Attend all Health and Safety training relevant to the job and apply what is learned to the work. Promote implementation of industry best practices, pursue the elimination of waste and support initiatives in manufacturing. Demonstrate and/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral based safety. Ensure compliance with applicable HSE performance standards, objectives and regulations. Live and foster the IPL Corporate Values.

 

What We’re Looking For:

High School Diploma or GED preferred Manufacturing experience preferred - on the job training is provided Must be able to work 2nd or 3rd shift - training may be on day shift Must be 21 years of age or older Must have a valid drivers license.
Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives. Ability to communicate with others effectively verbally Must be able to stand, sit, squat, bend and walk through the entire shift. Must be capable of lifting up to 38 lbs. and push/pull 15 lbs. Ability to wear and care for applicable personal protective equipment (such as, safety glasses and shoes, respirator, face shield, Tyvec, sleeves, gloves, coveralls, safety harness) as required by site specific requirements Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
