As our Nordic Head of Sales, you will have an integral part in ensuring we stay on top of the market and continue to enrich and simplify the consumers’ lives.

Samsung continues to grow and we are now looking for a Nordic Head of Sales for our Home Appliance Team. In this role, you will lead the sales team in building, maintaining, and developing sales of home appliance products through local and Nordic consumer channels. You will work from our Kista Office but have people in your organization in Norway, Finland, and Denmark. The role includes travel, primarily in the Nordics.

This role reports to our Nordic Director of Home Appliances, Tomasz Sypytkowski.

Role and Responsibilities

You will have full responsibility for the Home Appliance business in the Nordic consumer market and play a key role in developing and implementing business plans on both a strategic and operational level.

Leading a team of 6 direct reports, you will define and implement a Pan Nordic go-to-market strategy based on market -, competitor -, and customer analysis.

Part of your responsibilities will be to lead the team proactively in: 

Creating annual, quarterly, and monthly sell-in and sell-out plans to ensure profitable revenue- and market share growth on the market and within each account.Creating sales- and campaign plans by product with each accountReview & manage sales progress and channel stock and take appropriate action.Gather Voice of Customer relevant to the category and market.Share insight and requests with Product Management Organization and other internal counterparts.Create, execute, and review channel marketing plans together with Marketing organization.

Skills and Qualifications

It is important that you are a results-oriented and experienced sales leader. You should be someone who already has experience in consumer electronics, ideally having worked with the channels and customers previously.

To be successful in the role you should be an empathic leader, someone who is socially adaptable and cares about the well-being of others. You are organized, with the ability to set a clear plan and see it through. It will also require a high level of problem-solving skills, and quick in finding solutions.
