As a North America Benefits Administration Manager, you will lead the administration of our health and welfare benefits programs and leave of absence management for all North America employees. Your primary objective will be to ensure the effective and compliant delivery of these programs, supporting the overall well-being of our workforce.
What You Will Do
Team Leadership: Oversee the North America health and welfare benefits administration team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee benefits, including health insurance and other voluntary benefits. Leave Management: Lead the North America Leave of Absence team in managing employee leaves, such as FMLA and disability. Act as the main contact for Legal and HR Partners on ADA requests and accommodations. Policy Administration: Administer policies and procedures related to benefits and leave administration, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal guidelines. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with teams such as Total Rewards Center of Excellence, HR Partners, Finance, and Legal to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of benefits and leave programs. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with benefits vendors and systems administrators, monitor vendor performance, and address issues as they arise. Employee & Manager Support: Lead the team that provides guidance to employees and managers regarding benefits and leave programs, policy inquiries, and procedural questions. Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze and report on key metrics related to health and welfare benefits and leave administration, identifying areas for improvement. Program Development: Support the implementation of new benefits and leave programs, including system enhancements and process improvements. Champion Compliance: Ensure compliance with initiatives, including ACA reporting, and support data requests for third-party vendors and consultants.What We're Looking For
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. Experience: At least 8 years of experience in health and welfare benefits and leave administration. Experience working in large matrixed organization or within a leveraged services working model are preferred. Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to benefits and leave of absence. Team Management: Experience managing a team and supervising direct reports. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in HRIS systems and benefits administration software. Multitasking Ability: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. Professional Certification: Certification in HR or benefits (e.g., Certified Benefits Professional) is a plus.Perks and Rewards That Inspire:
