Job Title: North America Commodity Manager
Summary:Commodity Manager role with responsibilities including managing procurement activities for Indirect Services throughout our Momentive sites in North America. Great opportunity for a strong procurement professional to bring their experience to Momentive which is a leading global specialty growth chemicals manufacturing company. This role will manage a $30-50MM spend with ability to expand with additional experience. Responsibilities Include:
+ Services can include Facility Services (janitorial, pest control, lawncare, medical center, etc.), Commercial Real Estate Leases, Lease/Fleet Management, HR/HR benefits, Waste disposal (haz and non-haz), Water Treatment, Labor and Recruitment Services, Consulting (HR, Legal, Tax, etc), Product Stewardship, with additional services expansion planned.
+ KPI’s will include spend under management, automation, productivity, pay terms, as well as internal service levels.
+ Promoting strong vendor relationships, managing the contract lifecycle process from RFP to contract execution, as well as utilizing automation tools such as Ariba
+ Responsible for the negotiation of Indirect goods and services contracts with an annual spend of $30-$50MM
+ Build and maintain internal relationships cross-functionally with Business Leaders and Plant Operations in order to understand and support their purchasing requirements.
+ Responsible for the development and implementation of procurement plans and strategies for the assigned commodity set and to execute RFx’s and e-auctions as appropriate
+ Perform vendor selection, contract negotiation and implementation through the strategic sourcing process. Upon implementation, actively manage vendor contracts and pro-actively identify areas for improvement, services issues or other topics to address.
+ Ensure local procurement activities are in line with standard procurement processes and procedures.
+ Identify opportunities for synergies across all Momentive sites and implement maximizing cost benefits for all plants impacted.
+ Promotion of the use of automation tools and Ariba catalogs
+ Meet Productivity goals and working capital targets
Qualifications:
The following are required for the role
+ BS/BA degree or equivalent
+ Good commercial skills
+ 5 years procurement or operations experience
+ Skilled negotiator and Analytical skills
+ Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
+ Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
+ Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
+ Adept at Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
+ Strong project leadership driving procurement strategies through implementation
The following are preferred for this role
+ MBA and/or Professional certifications (CPSM, CPIM, etc.)
+ Continuous improvement mindset
+ Familiarity with SAP, Ariba, and E-auction tools
+ Six Sigma or Lean certification

What We Offer:Base Pay Range: $100,000 - $146,850
The actua l salary offered i s determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill set s, and geography. Local geographic pay differentials may not be reflected in the above pay range and will be discussed with you by a member of the HR team when applicable . Additionally, this role is eligible for incentive or sales variable compensation payments. The amount of these incentives is based on the terms of the Company's incentive plans, the Company's financial performance, and/or individual employee job performance.
