The North America Learning Business Partner –reports to the Head of North America Learning Experience (NALEX). In this position, you have the opportunity to unleash the potential of our colleagues across North America and help drive our Play to Win (PTW) culture.  This is accomplished through three primary roles:  Learning Business Partnering with Stakeholders, Program Management and Facilitation focused first on the Leadership Lab Core Global offer (including transversal leadership skill development) with potential for additional learning institutes partnerships.

Main Responsibilities:

Learning Business Partner

Collaborates with the business and P&C community to assess people development needs and links needs/performance gaps to skills.  Identifies relevant, sustainable learning solutions linked to identified skills.

Engages business leaders to leverage the appropriate internal Leadership Lab resources to drive consistency and limit unnecessary external spend. Connects business to other Learning Institutes as appropriate.

Contributes to the design of local learning solutions if global solutions don’t already exist nor are in development. 

Works with the Head of NALEX to inform global Leadership Lab of people development needs for North America.

Program Manager

Manages all aspects of assigned programs/learning journeys and supports teammates, as appropriate:

Plans and implements Quarterly NA schedule based on anticipated demand.

Ensures coverage of all scheduled sessions, securing facilitators for open enrolment programs as well as intact team sessions, including the management of external facilitators. 

Manages facilitation pool for assigned programs to identify, certify, and track facilitators.   

Increases awareness and utilization of programs through clear and timely communications and promotions.

In partnership with department head, manages budget for assigned programs.

Runs periodic iLearn audits to ensure accuracy of instructor-led programs in iLearn.

Assesses training evaluation data for trends

Contributes to global re-designs and enhancements of programs, applying Global learning standards.

Oversees activities of external partner to ensure timely and high-quality session delivery management. 

Facilitator

Facilitates Leadership upskilling open enrolment as well as intact team training sessions to the highest standard, serving as a role model to other facilitators.

Up to 25% business travel may be expected.

About You

Bachelor’s degree in related field required.

Experience working with senior business stakeholders to influence and be a credible business partner at all levels within the organization.

Experience with Adult Education methodology through work in a learning and development function and/or relevant business experience in the context of a matrixed organization.

Understanding of 3E’s (Education, Exposure, Experience) and how to subscribe in both the development and learning setting.

Proven communication and engagement skills with a well-developed ability to efficiently and productively communicate both verbally and in writing.

Skilled at facilitation of global learning both virtually and in person;

Proven track record in project management

Advanced skills in Microsoft Applications for use in virtual as well as live Training including but not limited to TEAMs and PowerPoint

Outstanding organizational skills, time management and dealing with conflicting priorities.

Pharma experience required.

Strong interpersonal skills (with demonstrated stakeholder management, conflict management / resolution in group dynamic)
