As the NA Logistics Control Tower Manager, you will manage the logistics of our goods and services to customers and suppliers. You will be responsible for developing the operational plan for the department, driving operational efficiencies, and developing relationships with our carriers.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Defining the transport plan and selecting the right carriers to facilitate the movement of goods and services through final delivery.Developing regular redesigns of the processes due to changing conditions and with the mindset of operational excellence and continuous improvement.Collaborating with other functional areas as needed and influencing peers to meet objectives.Conducting regular evaluations of current processes and providing direction to the team when changes are required.Setting performance expectations for 4PL's, carriers, freight forwarders, and other related service providers.Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a Bachelor's degreeHave previous leadership experience with managing teams - coaching, development and goal-setting.Demonstrate dynamic oral and written communication skills, collaborative interpersonal and leadership skills, and ability to influence others and lead small teams.Work in a way that works for you
