North America Operations Specialist Facilities Management

As an Operations Specialist you will support our mission by focusing on effective financial oversight, reporting and management of procurement activities for the NA Region.

Duties:

Effectively manage the invoicing and procurement activities for the region, including liaising with the Accounts Payable Team and other key business strategic partners.Provides support to the NA Team during the budgeting cycle.Provides support with effective cost center oversight, including monthly reviews of the region’s financial performance.Provides support with monthly closing reports, including journal entries and account reconciliations.Maintains financial integrity by following established procedures, policies, and internal controls.Provides support on commercial lease management and renewals including processing lease cost changes, and recurring payment requests.Provides support to the Capital expenditure process including budget initiation, cost tracking, reporting, and project closures.Support Project Managers with SAP capital projects setup, reporting, capitalization, closure, and Smartsheet tracking, also back up Project Managers with PPM Capex sanctioning and governance.Solve end to end system issues for stakeholders to remove bottlenecks in capital execution.

Qualifications
College diploma or university degree in Business, Finance, related field.5+ years of relevant experience.Knowledge and understanding of budgeting cycles, invoicing, accounting, procurement management and procurement systems.Proficient with Microsoft programs and applications (Power Point, Excel, Word, etc.).Financial Acuity.SAP / Ariba.
