We have an opportunity for a North American Sales Manager to lead our Named Accounts sales team for the Commercial and Infrastructure Flow business. This business is a market leader in water pumps used in commercial HVAC, fire suppression, industrial, and municipal water and wastewater treatment applications.  In this critical senior leadership role, you will lead a team of high-performing Named Account Executives in the water pump market. Reporting to the Global Sales Leader for the business unit, you will develop, implement, and lead a focused sales strategy, including hiring and developing leadership for the sales team. This is a highly visible position that requires high accountability and serves as a critical component of the overall Pentair Flow strategic segment strategy.

** This is a fully remote position. Ideal candidates will be in the central U.S.** #LI-Remote

You will:

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Named Account Executives across North America, ensuring their professional growth and development through clear performance expectations, regular feedback, and encouraging team collaboration and knowledge sharing.Develop and execute strategic account plans for key named accounts, aligning with overall business objectives and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and engagement.Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth in the water pump sector.Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and adjust strategies to meet changing market conditions and customer needs.Own and spearhead our distribution strategy across the U.S. and Canada.Collaborate with marketing, product management, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on customer requirements and market opportunities.Track and report on key sales metrics, including pipeline development, forecast accuracy, and account penetration.

Key Qualifications: 

Have earned a Bachelor's (B.A. or B.S.) degree.Have 7+ years of professional sales experience, with at least 3 years in a people leadership role, preferably in water treatment and/or the water pump market or related industries.Proven track record of managing and growing named accounts with complex sales cycles and high-value transactions.Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Travel:

50% overnight travel to meet with distributors, end-users, sales team members, and/or manufacturing site and functional leadership teams.

This posting is for one North American sales position.  Candidates can be located anywhere in the United States. For California and New York City resident candidates, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $141400 - $262500 / year.  For all other candidates in the U.S., the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $128500 - $238600 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be determined by considering demonstrable level of experience, skills, knowledge, performance and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs. Actual compensation may also be adjusted if the position is filled outside of the intended geographic location.​
