Northeast Commercial Lines Sr. Account Manager-

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Account Manager to join our Commercial Lines Team. This strategic advisor role will play an integral part in developing cohesive relationships with clients.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for coverage related inquiries and analysis, driving renewal efforts, and partnering with Producers on prospective marketing initiatives. This team member will be a proactive problem solver with demonstrated success in servicing a diverse book of business.

Your Impact:

Build and maintain constructive and effective relationships with internal and external customers by meeting and exceeding expectationsLeverage commercial P&C insurance knowledge and expertise to actively service existing accounts and develop new business opportunitiesFoster an environment of personal accountability by managing appropriate system records of service, marketing, and policy communications with clients and carriers in AMS accordinglyNurture professional relationships through the facilitation of personal client meetings and consistent client contactParticipate in the retention of renewal business. Interacting with producers to prepare specifications, applications, underwriting data and related information in the marketing of insurance productsEnsure the client has continuous and proper coverage and advising the client of any recommendations within a mutually established timelineReview current policies and providing recommendations regarding placement options. Utilizing coverage checklists and a network of industry contacts to determine appropriate coverage and premiumsSupport the implementation of new lines of coverage by setting up accounts, collecting needed documentation, and reviewing plan details with Client and CarrierExecute coverage analysis as needed as well as provide the client with accurate quotes for any additional coverages

Successful Candidates Will Have:

4-5 years’ experience of Commercial Lines client management experienceValid P&C licenseCollege degree preferredIndustry specific designations preferred- CISR, ARM or similarProficient in insurance agency management systems, AMS 360 and Work Smart preferredExtensive knowledge of Commercial Lines underwriting, coverage, rate analysis/procedures & experience reportingAbility to clearly articulate these products/plans to clients and underwriters, including compliance and legislative informationUnderstanding of marketplace trends and best practices to best meet client needsPossess excellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrate proficiency in computer applications, esp. Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to collect, interpret and/or analyze complex data and informationFlexible, and able to work effectively under pressure, handling multiple tasks with interruptions and changing prioritiesExceptional organization and time-management skills

At Risk Strategies Company, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings, The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base pay range for this position is between $80,000.00 - $110,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
