How this opportunity is different This is a newly created role siting within our Retail Leadership team, with an exciting scope that will see you play an integral part in the delivery and leadership of our strategic and operational performance within our Retail division across the Northland and Auckland regions. + Lead a team of highly engaged Branch and Senior Branch Managers across the Northern Area.
+ Delivering on the retail distribution strategy and operating plans within your geographical area.
+ Commercial and financial leadership including, P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting, delivering on operating targets including revenue, retention, operating expenditure, margin and cashflow.
+ Collaborate and contribute to key pieces of strategic work including operational excellence, product and service innovation, process improvement and capability uplift programmes.
+ Work in partnership with our other business leaders in growing the delivery of Aon’s other solutions and services within existing client portfolios.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
+ Senior leadership experience, ideally from within the financial services sector or insurance industry in a retail distribution environment which has included a branch network or geographically spread team.
+ This role requires you to hold a New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5).
+ Experience developing and delivering on data-led distribution strategies including proven revenue growth, retention, and client service plans.
+ Experience leading teams of colleagues through change whilst maintaining operational performance and colleague engagement.
+ Experience delivering systems and process improvements, capability uplift or compliance programmes.
+ A high degree of commercial competence and proficient business planning capabilities and the ability to be effective at both an operational and strategic level.
+ Strong engagement and communication skills and being able to confidently embed key messaging across colleagues at varying levels.
