They may care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted in age-related category and area of expertise. **Education Qualifications:** DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW The Emergency Department team at Essentia Health St. Mary’s Detroit Lakes is comprised of 5 physicians, 2 Physician Assistants and 3 Nurse Practitioners. This engaged and inspired team collaborates to ensure the highest level of care. The team works to achieve health and vitality in our communities by caring for patients in the Emergency Department setting and creating an environment to exceed the expectations of our patients and families.
