NP/PA for OB/GYN/Women - Urogynecology Practice, Lewes, DE

The Center for Urogynecology and Pelvic Surgery of ChristianaCare is looking to recruit a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to see patients in our Lewes, DE office as a licensed, independent provider. This will provide a great opportunity for the candidate to master highly specialized skills in evaluating, diagnosing, and managing a variety of conditions in both Gynecology and Urology. Conditions we treat include urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, overactive bladder, fecal incontinence, and other functional disorders involving the pelvic floor for women.

The prospective candidate will perform histories, physicals and health assessments; case manage, coordinate, document and deliver care. The candidate will provide education and counseling to patients and families about genito-urinary conditions; order and execute treatment plans; and perform procedures, such as urodynamics, tibial nerve stimulation, anal manometry, and trigger point injections; and participate in the interdisciplinary health care team as a resource and consultant.

Candidate must be willing to travel to satellite offices, currently not exceeding 35 minutes travel from main office. Experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Urogynecology, Women’s Health/GYN, or Urology is preferred. 
 
Education and Experience Requirements 
Licensed or eligible for Nurse Practitioner license or PA license in the state of Delaware
Certification in specialty area
Prescriptive Authority or eligibility for the state of Delaware
DEA registration required
BLS required
