NPD Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to optimize our manufacturing processes and ensure that our production goals are met with the highest level of quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing systems, process design, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce cost, and improve sustainability. Design, implement, and refine production systems for new and existing product lines. Develop and maintain detailed work instructions for all production processes. Perform time studies to ensure that production capacity meets current and future demand. Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with product development teams to ensure manufacturability of new designs. Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen. Implement and maintain manufacturing quality control initiatives to reduce defects and improve overall product quality. Assist in the selection and maintenance of equipment, including performing cost-benefit analyses for new technology acquisitions. Provide technical support and training to production staff and other engineers. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Two years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role. Proficiency with CAD software and familiarity with CAM tools. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, production systems, and process optimization techniques. Demonstrated experience with Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodology. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Effective communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization.

Preferred Skills: Master’s degree in Engineering or related field. Professional certifications such as Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt. Experience with automation, robotics, or advanced manufacturing technologies. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling.

Bonus or Equity
This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 81,200.00 - 150,800.00
