We are changing the world with: • Trusted products that accelerate drug discovery, development, and delivery to save lives • Damage-resistant cover glass to enhance the devices that keep us connected • Optical fiber, wireless technologies, and connectivity solutions to carry information and ideas at the speed of light • Precision glass for advanced displays to deliver richer experiences • Auto glass and ceramics to drive cleaner, safer, and smarter transportation **Day to Day Responsibilities:** + Lead NPI key projects to achieve target goal, including product quality, yield, and lowest cost. + Establish NPI Decoration production process and document process settings and revise as conditions change. + Lead NPI technical investigation and improvement of customer concerns with fast speed. + Lead process upset L3 trouble shooting when performance is below expectation. Work with CFT to optimize process/equipment parameters. + Support NPI spec review and optimize NPI product and process design in early stage. + Train operators, shift leaders, managers, and other engineers. + Weekend and shift coverage are requirement as needed. **Education & Experience** + 8+ years process working experience in cover glass manufacturing. Hands on shopfloor production and process setup, tuning and trouble shooting skills. + High school or above. BS above with Science and Engineering related major is a plus. **Required Skills** + Proficient in cover glass manufacturing decoration process setup, tuning and troubleshooting. + Rich experience of production upset problem solving and yield improvement projects. + Logic thinking and communication. Desired to fundamental understanding. + Demonstrated ability to work with cross function team to solve problems. + Self-motivated and can work under pressure. **Desired Skills** + Proficient in cover glass manufacturing full process flow process setup, tuning and troubleshooting experience. + Project management experience. + Understanding of equipment mechanical operations and control. + Understanding of DMAIC, Lean and Six-Sigma methods and tools. + Good oral and written communication skill, including in English. **Soft Skills** + Sense of urgency and creativity to handle project issues and adapt plan to meet objectives. + Strong ownership of achieving goals. Result oriented. + Good leadership to manage project team to achieve targets. + Flexibility to adapt to changing environment.
