As a hands onGas Utility Foremen, you will use your2+ years of gas utility experienceto manage the job site - taking responsibility for planning and executing tasks safely and efficiently to ensure projects are completed on time. In this leadership role, you will guide your crew by providing coaching and training, helping team members grow and develop their skillsets to achieve long-term success. What You'll Do You will use your years of utility experience to manage the job site, taking responsibility for planning and executing tasks safely and efficiently to ensure projects are completed on time. In this leadership role, you will guide your team by providing coaching and training, helping team members grow and develop their skillsets to achieve long-term success. + Manage the scope and schedule of the assigned projects, from pre-construction through project close-out. + Understand plans, construction methods, and safety regulations. + Administer weekly site safety meeting. + Maintain and do thorough worklist prior to punch list. + Maintain liaison with owner, engineers, and project manager to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule. + Assist in resolving construction problems. + Assist Project Manager in hiring field personnel. + Attend company meetings as necessary. + Understanding of installation and methods of water installation, storm sewer systems, and sanitary sewer line, and/or knowledge and understanding of earthwork means and methods. + Knowledge and understanding of how-to layout a site, set grades, read grade stakes, set appropriate flow lines on utilities. + Working knowledge of GPS operated equipment as well as the ability to cut grade without the help of GPS. + Operate equipment as required. What You'll Have Applicants must understand plans and schedules; coordinate all personnel, and materials to prevent delays; complete projects according to Plans & Specifications on time and on budget. Applicant must be able to operate the following equipment: + Dozer + Backhoe + Track hoe + Loader + Compaction Equipment + Pipe Laser Applicants should have proven track record supervising and coordinating activities of work crews; read blueprints, and layout. Applicant must have experience with the following + 2’’ to 24’’ Waterline + 6’’ to 36’’ Sanitary Sewer Pipe + Storm Water pipe Applicants should have proven track record supervising and coordinating activities of work crews; read blueprints, and layout. Must be highly motivated.
