NPS Case Admin (Band 2)
Job Description

Our NPS client requires an administrator to join the busy team on a temporary basis.

This will involve scanning predominantly, whilst also providing up to 8 hours support for one of the Probation Officers, within the National Probation Service.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 9 - 5, 37hrs per week, £11.44/hr.

Our client is currently based in Derby City Centre with good access to transport links.

The role is fully on site due to its nature.

This role will offer a great opportunity to work within the Probation Service and gain experience within the Public Sector.

As you will be involved with both scanning and providing support, you will need to be able to organise and prioritise your workload, managing your diary and work commitments, ensuring all targets are met.

Duties will include but not be limited to

* Sifting, scanning and the correct disposal of paper files

* Supporting the Probation Officer by attending meetings between them and the service users. You will be required to take minutes.

* Typing up meeting minutes and scanning onto the system

* Liaising with staff and other probation users with professionalism

* Administrative duties including taking some calls, the printing and posting of letters, as well as the uploading of paperwork onto the system

* Filing

* Distribution of mail and emails

* Data entry

Our client requires the following skills

* Good strong admin experience

* Good working knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, outlook and Teams

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

* Ability to remain professional at all time and converse with a variety of service users

* Excellent organisational skills

The pay rate is £11.44 per hour and benefits includes holiday pay and pension scheme.

Full training will be given.

The role will require full 3 year referencing and HMPPS vetting. Due to this, the role will not be an immediate start.

The main responsibility will be scanning paper files on to our systems. There may be some additional basis admin tasks such as taking notes, data entry
