Here’s the Gist: 

NTPI organization works closely with R&D and operations teams to transfer and tune new technologies in the Mohawk Valley Fab. A NTPI Process Technician is expected to, get trained and qualified in all process areas as needed by the organization, perform basic tool operation without direct supervision, assist engineers, solve basic problems and troubleshooting, and be able to compile data and perform some basic analysis, all in a safe manner.

This role will work a 12-hour NIGHT shift with a "3on-4off-4on-3off" alternating schedule. As a NIGHT/partial weekend shift, this role will be eligible to receive a 15% shift differential, as well as overtime.

Note: There are 75 minutes of paid break(s) each shift along with a 15 min unpaid break.

The Day-to-Day

• Work in the fab on executing NTPI process development tasks including inspections, data collection, equipment adjustment, and process optimization.

• Basic setup and operational work in manufacturing execution system and data analysis with software, track and control components through the production process

• Provide regular progress updates by emails and in team meetings

• Work with R&D and NTPI engineers on basic problem solving

• Work with engineers and vendor on R&D equipment installations.

• Ability to stand, walk, sit, or move around assigned work location without limitation for extended periods of time (i.e. up to 11 hours at a time)

• Experience using hands to operate machinery and/or assemble product.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to chest height.

• Must be comfortable wearing personal protective equipment or PPE (i.e. lightweight cleanroom suit, eye protection, gloves, etc.)

• Ability to work in repetitive motions and pressure involving fingers, hands, and wrists, includes standing or walking over hard concrete surface, and climbing ladders 

This role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management.

This position will be based in Marcy, NY.
