Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations._ **Responsibilities:** GENERAL PURPOSE: Serves as a strategist, subject-matter expert, lead writer and creator of complex content. Develops and implements integrated communications plans that support key objectives of clinical service lines, departments or programs for strategic priorities. Pulls data and participates in review of communications activities to determine effectiveness. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** + Develops and executes promotional and/or integrated marketing programs. Produces pamphlets, brochures, bulletins, fliers and other materials that support programs or other one-off programs. + Develops and implements annual marketing communications plan to support the strategic objectives of assigned service lines or programs. Develops and leads the execution of program components that support the annual plan. Pulls data and participates in reviewing effectiveness of communications. + Develops and writes a variety of moderately complex content aimed at internal and external audiences. Identifies content needs and produces work independently. + Serves as a subject-matter expert for assigned strategic service lines or programs. Works closely with the Marketing Strategy team to understand the strategy and business objectives of the assigned area. Maintains relationships with top faculty and staff, monitors health care/research publications and other steps to remain current with the happenings within departments, service line and industry. + Supports local and national publicity as needed. Responds to media inquiries. Provides publicity support for other stories, departments and programs. Leads coverage of complex stories such as media events with multiple speakers and major departmental announcements. + Serves as editor of print or online newsletters as needed. Assists with writing/editing for other projects.
