JR60142 NTI Yield Failure Analysis TechnicianYour responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Package failure analysis data into clear and concise reports.Failure analysis which includes operating state-of-the-art analytical failure analysis tools such as Optical Microscope, Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM), Focus Ion Beams (FIB), Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM), wet and dry etching and de-layering to identify yield-limiting issues such as processing defects and electrical margin failures.Perform necessary sample preparation techniques to enable subsequent analyses to be conducted.Support routine inline process targeting jobs using defined and documented procedures meeting or exceeding cycle time and quality standard expectations. Collaborate with fab team to perform the yield and failure analysis.Understand and follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures and requirements. All team members are required to complete their learning items within the stipulated time frame.Successful candidates for this position will have:
Minimum 1 year semiconductor experience.Experience with failure analysis equipment is a plus, including XSEM, TEM, FIB, RIE, EDX.Basic understanding of physics concepts and principles.Basic understanding of semiconductor device manufacturing process.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient in PC Windows environment.Good verbal and written communication skills.Prepared to work on permanent 12-hour day/night shift and willing to work overtime.Curiosity and natural tendency of learning new things independently.Exposure to R&D and transfer/manufacturing is desirable.Ability to be self-motivated and self-governing with proven ability to work in a demanding and dynamic environment.Education:
ITE or Diploma in an electronics related field or equivalent experience is preferred.
