This non-tenure track role is strategically designed to explore and enhance the intersection of machine learning, economics, and various related fields. The successful candidate will contribute valuable insights to areas such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, agricultural economics, business management, finance, international trade, food systems, and sustainable and regenerative development.
A significant focus of this position is the expansion of the department’s Data Analytics program. The Assistant Teaching Professor will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering courses that contribute to this growing concentration. By integrating machine learning and data-driven approaches into the curriculum, the candidate will strengthen the department’s capacity to prepare students for careers in data analytics, agricultural economics, and related fields.
