Non-Tenure Track Faculty* – Any position that is .5 FTE or more is represented by the Associated Faculty of Montana State University ( AFMSU ). Duties and Responsibilities + Teaching on-campus or online courses. + Advising, evaluating and assisting students. + Curriculum and/or course development. + Participating in weekly faculty meetings. Required Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills + Master’s degree or a bachelor’s Degree and professional certification in a relevant or a related field. + Minimum of three years substantial experience in the area of teaching responsibility. + Demonstrated experience working with and engaging diverse students and colleagues within and outside the department. Preferred Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills + Significant, long-term direct professional experience with successful deployment and execution of business processes and substantial insight into the theoretical frameworks of the field or discipline of teaching responsibility. + Currency in the area of teaching responsibility. + Previous Teaching Experience. + Demonstrated knowledge of college student development. + Demonstrated commitment to student, faculty, and staff diversity.
