Join our world-class team today. **Position Specific Description** This position is located at Seabrook Nuclear Power Station in Seabrook, NH. Preferred candidate will hold a New Hampshire state journeyman or master electrician license. **Job Overview** Performs installations, inspections, repairs, surveillances, and preventative and corrective maintenance on Station electrical equipment, systems and structures to ensure the safe, efficient and dependable operation of the Station. Performs these activities on individual components as well as complex systems, equipment and structures. **Job Duties & Responsibilities** + Maintains thorough working knowledge of, and performs work activities according to established practices, procedures, and codes. + Performs the daily activities of the Electrical Maintenance Department, as assigned, which includes installation, inspection, replacement, adjustment and repair of Station equipment, systems, buildings and facilities. + Performs electrical preventive maintenance, lubrication, surveillance, and equipment calibration programs. + Prepares and maintains related reports, logs, records and historical data, as assigned. + Recommends changes to existing maintenance methods, procedures, and applications to improve overall Station activities + Keeps the Electrical Supervisor informed of any noted conditions or situations within the Electrical Maintenance Department which could affect the safe and efficient operation of the facility. + Assists in maintaining necessary tools, equipment, and spare parts associated with the maintenance of the Station electrical systems + Participates in and completes plant and Electrical Maintenance Department training; prepares for advancement by continued participation in such programs + Maintains thorough working knowledge of the Station's tagging rules; qualifies to perform tagging + Assists Mechanics and I&C Technicians in performing installations, modifications, repairs, and maintenance of Station mechanical equipment + Operates and maintains a variety of equipment unique to craft specialization + Prepares and/or assists in the preparation of detailed programs and procedures for the Electrical Maintenance Department + Recommends the termination of any maintenance activity which is not being carried out in accordance with applicable procedures, specifications, regulations, requirements or accepted practices and any activity which jeopardizes personnel safety, equipment safety or continued power generation + Required to be a member of the Seabrook Station Emergency Response Organization (ERO)and to adhere to all related requirements specified in the Seabrook Station Radiological Emergency Plan. These requirements include, but are not limited to, maintaining applicable ERO position qualifications, participation in drills and exercises, and responding to an actual emergency (including radiological) + Required to participate in major outagesby performing a designated outage position, and maintaining required training qualifications. An outage assignment may involve shiftwork and/or working extended hours outside of normal schedule **Required Qualifications** + Two year Associates degree in related field and/or experience. + Three to four years in industrial electrical maintenance or successful completion of U.S. Navy Nuclear Power program; at least two years must be commercial nuclear power plant electrical maintenance experience. + Industrial electrical maintenance experience shall include inspection, testing, replacement, adjustment, and repair of electrical components in industrial process systems.
