Medicine Supervisor will oversee both Backus Hospital and Windham Hospitals Nuclear Medicine programsThe Nuclear Medicine Supervisor performs Nuclear Medicine diagnostic procedures in the hospital in accordance with all state and NRC Nuclear Regulatory Commission regulations and utilizing an understanding of principles of growth and development to provide the physician with diagnostic images to identify andor plan appropriate treatment of the patientrsquos condition The Nuclear Medicine Supervisor maintains and operates cameras that detect and map radioactive drugs in a patients body to create diagnostic images The Nuclear Medicine Supervisor prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals for nuclear radiologic studies in adherence to professional and department protocolsThe Supervisor oversees the operational activities of the department and collaborates with leadership to address and resolve tasks such as staff development You will assist with equipment purchasing policies and procedures patient scheduling patient and staff safety operational monitoring regulatory compliance image quality employee engagement and the overall timeliness and quality of services
