Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for providing services in the Medical Center's Nuclear Medicine department. These responsibilities include preparation of radiopharmaceuticals and monitoring equipment.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare radiopharmaceuticals for nuclear medicine procedures.Monitor and operate nuclear medicine equipment.Ensure the safety and accuracy of radioactive materials used in procedures.Follow established protocols and safety standards.Work collaboratively with other medical staff to provide comprehensive patient care.Essential SkillsNuclear MedicineNuclear Medicine TechnologyRadioisotope handlingAART certificationNMTCB or ARRT certification in Nuclear MedicineMinimum 2 years of experience in a related roleNew York State Department of Health License or eligibilityAdditional Skills & QualificationsCT certification (preferred)Associates degree in Nuclear Medicine or graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine certificate programExperience in the field is a plus, but new graduates are welcomeLicensure in NYS NM, or CTWork Environment

This role is on-site. The work environment includes the use of advanced nuclear medicine technology and equipment, requiring adherence to safety protocols and standards. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $125000.00
