Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN PRN-Varied Shifts, FLEXIBLE scheduling hours As a **Nuclear Med Tech** at **Tennova Healthcare-Clarksville** you’ll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients. **Requirements:** + Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program. + Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with the advanced registry in Nuclear Medicine or The Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). + BLS required. **About the Job:** + The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for the care of all patients and the performance of orderable exams in the Nuclear Medicine Department. + They will also be responsible for the ordering, handling, disposition, storage, and disposal of all radioactive materials in accordance with regulations set forth by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and the State of Tennessee. + Responsible for the regulatory and manufacturer recommend quality control checks on all imaging calibration survey and dosimeter equipment within the Nuclear Medicine Department. + The Nuclear Medicine Technologist must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient. **Tennova Healthcare – Clarksville** Tennova Healthcare- Clarksville is a 270 bed, full service, outstanding, acute care medical facility with a 24/7 emergency room, 24/7 laboratory, and 24/7 respiratory services.Tennova Clarksville has been designated as an Accredited Chest Pain Center, a Blue Distinction® Center for Maternity Care, a Wound Care Center of Distinction, and earned the Gold Seal of Approval from The Joint Commission.
