**Overview** **F** **airview is hiring a Nuclear** **Technologist to join our Radiology department at our M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital location in Edina, MN and our M Health Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, MN. This role will work at both locations weekly.** This role has a sign on bonus starting at $3,000! This Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs all non-PET related Nuclear Medicine procedures according to the Minnesota Department of Health established policies and procedures, methods and standards to provide quality patient care. **Schedule** **:** This position will be working **0.6 FTE** (48 hours every two weeks). _The typical schedule:_ Wednesday: 7:30am-4pm (Ridges) Thursday and Friday: 7:30am-4pm (Southdale) **ON CALL REQUIREMENT - Every 7th Sunday (10am-4pm)** **About Fairview** Fairview is an industry-leading, award-winning nonprofit that offers an entire network of healthcare services. Identify and measure appropriate radiopharmaceutical prior to injection to prevent misadministration. Greet and accurately identify correct patient and provide a brief explanation of procedure. Confirm and detail inventory of all radioactive material used, sorted and disposed of according to Minnesota Department of Health regulations and guidelines. Perform and record all required quality control procedures on specified equipment to ensure correct and accurate operation. Assess, prepare, record and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to Minnesota Department of Health regulations and department policies. Performance of all non-PET related Nuclear Medicine procedures on patients ranging in age from neonatal to geriatric. Provide quality information and care to patients, physicians, and staff. Select accurate technical factors for each particular study/patient to ensure highest quality imaging. Monitor and survey area for radiation contamination per Minnesota Department of Health regulations and guidelines including proper procedures for addressing radioactive spills.
