Nuclear Project Manager
Job Description We are seeking a Nuclear Project Manager for one of our large energy companies. Thise role is responsible for managing all phases of the project planning to ensure project success. This includes scope, planning, tracking, timeline, resources, and risks. The ideal candidate will be someone who can take direction and be self-sufficient. This role requires someone who can manage long-term capital budgets and plan for outages over a 6-10 year period. Key Responsibilities:  Utilize VBA and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.  Develop and maintain logical project plans.  Work onsite at the Nuclear Station 4 days a week.  Manage and utilize work management systems.  Assist in tracking processes and ensuring engineers have a consolidated workspace.  Be present during outages to perform necessary tasks.  Oversee long-term capital budget management and planning for future outages.  Coordinate with various departments to ensure project milestones are met.  Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to stay on schedule.  Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements.  Prepare and present project status reports to senior management.  Facilitate communication between engineering, operations, and maintenance teams.  Identify and mitigate risks associated with project execution.  Support the development and implementation of process improvements. Skills and Requirements Bachelors degree  Proven experience with VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) and Power BI.  5 years project management experience  Has worked in the nuclear space before.  Experience with work management systems. Experience in managing long-term capital budgets and planning for outages.  Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM), Utility Technical Certifications/Training, or Construction Management Institute International (CMII) Certification  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
