Independently or under the direction of a Radiologist or Cardiologist performs Nuclear Medicine procedures and patient care requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative for obtaining a diagnosis. Response for routine Nuclear Medicine imaging and other procedures requiring sound understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology with independent selection and modification of technical factors to produce optimum Nuclear Medicine scans, while keeping patient welfare, confidentiality and comfort a top priority. Using diagnostic imaging techniques to detect and map radioactive drugs in the human body.
Graduate of a recognized program in Radiologic Technology.
Graduate of a recognized program for Nuclear medicine is preferred as well as an associate’s degree.
AART in Radiology or ARRT in Nuclear medicine
Graduate of a recognized program in Radiologic Technology.
