Responsibilities Key Accountabilities: + Provides knowledge of numerical control, machining, and programming inspection machine tools + Performs a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis of NC programs to ensure validation and compliance to customer and regulatory requirements and specifications + Analyze blueprints, engineering models, and electronic controls to support NC programming + Work with NC programmers to optimize or modify programs as required + Program CMM’s, portable inspection devices and provide verification of NC programs using software and apps + Ability to collaborate in a team environment + Validates fabrication, assembly, or installation manufacturing plans by coordinating with suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing teams + Communicates with cross-functional teams to influence and clarify design concepts + Coordinates change incorporation, optimizes processes, and addresses producibility issues as well as production & post-production problems Qualifications Required Qualifications: + Entry level position + Ability to read and perform mathematical problems + Ability to problem solve and multi-task + High School Diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications: + Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Spirit AeroSystems is an equal opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital or civil partnership status, pregnancy, age, disability, veteran status or any other protected factor under federal, state or local law.
