Are you an experienced Numerical Control (NC) Programmer with a passion for precision manufacturing and team leadership? Lockheed Martin is seeking a Numerical Control Programmer Associate Manager to lead a high-performing team in Marietta, GA. In this role, you will oversee the development of NC programs that drive machining operations for critical aerospace components, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and process optimization across Lockheed Martin Aeronautics sites.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Developing and writing programs for numerically controlled (NC) machines using engineering specifications and drawings.
• Analyzing engineering drawings to define part configurations and determine the type and sequence of machine operations.
• Creating NC programs for machining parts, tools, and sheet metal on numerically controlled machine tools.
• Selecting appropriate cutting tools and parameters, considering speeds, feeds, materials, and control system limitations.
• Identifying and implementing the most efficient program routines to optimize machine performance and dimensional accuracy.
• Testing and modifying existing programs in response to engineering changes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Serving as the focal point for integration and collaboration with other Lockheed Martin Aeronautics sites.
• Managing department workflow, assigning tasks, and reporting key metrics and project status to leadership.
• Developing and generating reports, updates, and data analysis to support management and operational decision-making.
• Driving process improvements and developing new requirements to support evolving aerospace manufacturing needs.

• Applications knowledge in metallics, composites machining, automated drilling tools, &/or programming
• Manufacturing Experience
• CNC experience
• MasterCam &/or Catia software experience
• Microsoft Office products Experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
