Duties & Responsibilities
Provision of health care services in treatment of patients
General-duty nurses and are responsible for the overall care of patients Give medicines according to what has been prescribed by doctorsPromote good health, also practice preventive patient care including checkups, vaccinations, suggesting diets and running lab tests to ensure the bodily systems are functioning properly
Keep records of patients’ progress or any symptoms of illness. Conduct physical examination of the patients and assist the doctor in diagnosing and treating common illnesses and injuries.Educate patients about various illnesses and their treatment.
Administering injections during immunization programs and take various samples for medical tests.Providing advice or emotional support to patients.
Give advice to the patients on healthy lifestyles and on post-surgery care.Performing diagnostic tests and analyzing results, operating medical equipments, administering medications and treatments.
Check blood pressure or other chronic problems To help in ECG tests, X-rays, interpret X-rays and other lab testsReporting
Create statistics reports, presentations of findings; create graphics of service provided, medications, etc. Keep track and custodian of employee’s medical files. Area of expertise (Skills) License to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN). Other Skills and Experiences (Min) All practitioners must possess a medical degree (an M.D.) from a University OR Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) OR Associate’s degree in nursing (AND) or a diploma ORGraduates of any of these educational nursing programs can then obtain a NCLEX-RN license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
