Job Title: XRN04G - Ambassador

Brief Description:  

Patients are at the center of our business strategies.  The Nurse Case Managers serve as an extension of the service platform. Nurse Case Managers have primary responsibility/accountability for providing appropriate product related training and enrollment for patients prescribed Product.  Nurse Case Managers will serve as the link for each patient enrolling in the Program to better understand and utilize other Product services, including but not limited to Product training and adherence education. These interactions will be conducted as a one on one telephonic or virtual interaction with patients deciding how and whether to participate.

 

Provides case management support and education to patients on assigned caseload through remote and virtual contact with patient.  This includes relationship building, assisting with navigating insurance and pharmacy protocols to obtain medication, referral source, and customized product and disease state training.


The Nurse Case Manager position is a hybrid onsite role based out of our Overland Park, KS location.  

Candidates must be currently living or planning to relocate within a commutable distance of the office.

Specific Job Duties:

 

The Nurse Case Manager will adhere to principles as stipulated by program specific contractual agreements and company practices, which may include:

Interact and build relationships with assigned patients throughout duration of program.Product related training and patient education for patient’s prescribed Product.Provide patient centric education regarding treatment and disease states for assigned products, updating program database per company protocols.  Coordinate meetings between patient and clinical partners.Deliver customized interactions based on patient’s needs, including virtual interactions. Participates in program specific customer meeting and training sessions.Participates in program specific orientation meetings and demonstrates clinical systems competency on tests.Any additional duties as assigned by program management.Travel is required for initial training as well as national meetings twice a year.

 


Desired Skills and Qualifications:

Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferredRegistered Nurse License in good standing in the state in which you work and/or cross-licensed in other statesTelephonic nursing roles are required to have (or be willing to obtain) a Compact State License in eligible states; additionally, the employee must be willing to obtain additional Single State Licenses upon request. 5+ years clinical experience in healthcare to include hospital, home health, pharmaceutical or biotechNurse educator experience preferredDirect interaction with patient and support for persistence and complianceKnowledge of clinical data and pharmacologyDemonstrated time management skills; planning and prioritization skills; ability to multi-task and maintain prioritization of key projects and deadlinesDemonstrated effective presentation skills; ability to motivate others; excellent interpersonal (written and verbal) skills – with demonstrated effectiveness to work cross-functional and independentlyDemonstrated ability to work and drive for results and with enthusiasmDemonstrated ability to develop and execute plans in an independent environmentDemonstrated ability to take initiative and vision: challenge assumptions and interpretationsDemonstrated ability to build relationships with third parties using good negotiation skillsDemonstrated ability to be adaptable to changing work environments and responsibilitiesFully competent in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and iPad technologyFlexibility to work weekends and evenings
