Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Education, serves as a role model, consultant, change agent and facilitator in assessing learning needs and in planning and implementing, and evaluating educational activities for Patient Care Services. Utilizing instructional techniques and adult learning principles, this position develops and implements job aids, performance criteria, clinical competencies and interactive practical experiences to support staff development based on identified educational needs.
Minimum Qualifications
· Education
o Bachelor of Science in nursing required.
o Masters degree in nursing preferred.
· Experience
o Minimum three years of clinical nursing experience, including experience in area of specialty.
· Licensure and/or Certification
o Current license as a registered nurse in Massachusetts required.
o BLS instructor certification required.
o Specialty area certification preferred.
