Nurse Educator - Emergency Department and Behavioral Health

Serves as a consultant, educator, researcher, and clinical expert for the medical center and service area.  Demonstrates expertise in the care of age specific patient population (e.g., infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, pediatrics) according to clinical specialty, and participates in related continuing education.

Required Qualifications: 

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Coursework/Training: Advanced study in area of clinical specialization Coursework/Training: Course work in adult education principles Coursework/Training: Performance Improvement and research methodology California Registered Nurse License upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. 3 years of Acute hospital experience in clinical specialty area. 1 year of experience in adult education, patient/family education.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Nursing or equivalent educ/experience Will accept current enrollment in Master's Degree program. Nursing specialty certification within 2 years of hire
