We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Med Surg Nurse Manager to lead our Med Surg team with a focus on collaboration, excellence, and patient-centered care The Nurse Manager (NM) is a registered professional nurse who plays a vital role in shaping the care and services provided to patients and their families throughout their hospital stay. Reporting to the Director of Medical Surgical Services, the Nurse Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of a designated nursing unit or units. In this leadership role, the Nurse Manager draws on critical thinking, creativity, and clinical knowledge to support high-quality care, foster positive team dynamics, and ensure alignment with hospital standards. They are committed to building strong, collaborative relationships within the team and works to create an environment where professional and technical staff feel supported, motivated, and empowered. The Nurse Manager promotes excellence by guiding and mentoring team members, encouraging ongoing development, and leading efforts to enhance patient care. As a steward of resources, they strive for efficiency while maintaining a strong focus on patient-centered outcomes. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree required, master's degree strongly preferred. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Florida Nursing License - ACLS, BLS for Healthcare providers preferred. Professional certification from a national organization preferred. Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training: Minimum of two years management experience in medical surgical. Strong communication and team-building skills are essential for success in this role.
