Position: Nurse Manager - Perinatal Testing Centers
Shift: Days with 24/7 Accountability

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the Perinatal Testing Center, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow management. Supervise and mentor a team of nurses, ultrasound sonographers, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. Manage high-risk OB scans and procedures, ensuring that all fetal monitoring and diagnostic testing is performed to the highest standards. Facilitate communication across multiple teams (including physicians, medical staff, and administration), ensuring effective collaboration and patient care coordination. Partner with physicians and the medical director to ensure comprehensive care and timely decision-making for high-risk pregnancies. Ensure the Perinatal Testing Center operates efficiently, working closely with registration and billing teams to streamline patient flow and financial processes. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency, patient satisfaction, and safety across the testing center. Monitor and maintain a safe, supportive environment for both patients and staff. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for patient care, operational efficiency, and staff performance. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, CLIA, state-specific regulations) and organizational standards. Manage budgeting, ordering supplies, and maintaining testing equipment and technology. Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in obstetric care, perinatal testing, and fetal monitoring.


Experience:
1. 3-5 years of clinical experience in obstetrics nursing.
2. Prior management, supervisor, charge, coordinator, or other related leadership experience required.


Education:
1. BSN preferred.
2. MSN or other related Masters Degree highly preferred.


Licensures/Certifications:
1. PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
2. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
3. Certification in Perinatal Nursing (RNC-OB) or equivalent or Leadership certification (NE-BC/NEA-BC) desired.
