**Harborview Medical Center** **Nurse Manager, Radiology / Cath Lab Nursing**
Reporting to the Associate Chief Nursing Officer, the Nurse Manager has accountability and responsibility for managing the nursing units to provide safe, efficient and quality patient centered care.
Provides dedicated, strategic, and clinical leadership to nursing services across the Radiology and Cardiac Catheterization (Cath) Lab units. Ensures the safe, effective, and patient-centered delivery of care in these high-acuity procedural environments, aligning nursing operations with institutional priorities around quality, access, and staff engagement. Oversees daily operations, staffing, performance improvement initiatives, and regulatory compliance. This includes direct supervision of registered nurses and collaborative support of other patient care staff, ensuring nursing practice adheres to current evidence-based guidelines and institutional standards. The Nurse Manager also collaborates closely with directors, radiologists, cardiologists, proceduralists, and nursing leadership across the hospital to optimize interdisciplinary workflows and patient outcomes. The Nurse Manager is responsible for the continuous development and evaluation of a comprehensive nursing program that spans Radiology and Cath Lab procedural services. The role also contributes to strategic planning, including capital resource allocation and quality/safety improvement strategies including strategic service line growth in Cardiology.

**Requirements:**
Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Washington required.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
Minimum of 5 years of direct patient care experience, with at least 2 years in a radiology, cardiology, or critical care environment. Strong understanding of imaging procedures (e.g., CT, MRI, fluoroscopy) and cardiac diagnostic and intervention procedures (e.g., stress testing, cardiac catheterization).
At least 2–3 years of progressive leadership experience in a healthcare setting, ideally overseeing nursing teams within procedural or outpatient departments. Proven ability to supervise multidisciplinary teams, manage conflict, and drive team engagement.
Experience with Joint Commission, CMS, and state health department standards relevant to radiology and cardiac services. Familiarity with quality assurance metrics, process improvement methodologies, and risk mitigation strategies in procedural care areas.
Background in operational planning, staffing, resource utilization, and budget management. Experience implementing efficiency initiatives and productivity tools within a clinical department.
Proficient with electronic medical records (EMRs) and scheduling systems commonly used in imaging and cardiology units. Comfortable with analytics, dashboard reviews, and data-driven decision-making.
**Desired:**
MSN degree desirable.
Certification in Cardiac-Vascular Nursing (RN-BC), Radiology Nursing (CRN), or Nurse Executive (NE-BC/CENP) is highly desirable.
