Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for a dedicated Nurse Manager to lead our brand new EmPATH unit (Emergency Psychiatric Assessment, Treatment, and Healing). This role will be full-time day shift from Monday – Friday. Utilizes the Joint Commission standards and nursing practice tools/research to support a care delivery system that produces quality care with optimal outcomes. Serves as a primary liaison and information resource for unit of responsibility while overseeing the provision of therapeutic care in a holistic and evidence-based environment, which produces excellent patient care with optimal patient outcomes. Provides direction and guidance to others regarding practice while serving as a resource and a mentor to team members and showing respect for and an appreciation for the contributions of all team members. Consistently supports Inova Health System's mission and strategic plans.
Preferred experience in Behavioral Health, Emergency Medicine, Crisis Management.
Requirements:
Certification - Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Licensure - Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse. Experience - 2 years of nursing experience related to the unit's scope. Education - Bachelors Degree in NursingAbout Inova Health System
