*POSITION SUMMARY* As an Office of Experience team member, the Design Strategist supports how our consumers interact with our Health First people, places, services, and brand. This role brings the best and most applicable experience design elements to the forefront of Health First. This person ensures success in design and creation by supporting teams through the design process and managing transitions. A key responsibility will be bringing experience design experts from across the IDN together to creatively solve problems and bring the voice of the consumer into every design. *PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES* 1. Leverage design thinking methodologies to facilitate strategic problem-solving 2. Facilitate conversations, workshops, and design sessions with teams to explore issues, prototype solutions, and create IDN alignment 3. Collaborate with the VP of Experience Design and design vendors to create cohesive space plans and experience offerings focused on consumer-centricity 4. Partner with the VP of Experience Culture and the Culture Design Team to design people and leader experiences and related resources to support our cultural transformation roadmap including experiences for Leading Well leadership and culture champions 5. Work closely with the Director of Consumer Insights to synthesize consumer data and research to better understand user needs and market challenges and build strategies to provide an actionable path for consumer-centric experiences 6. Contribute to the overall approach and deployment of design thinking practice within Health First and provide management to the experience design cohort 7. Develop experience design and design thinking resources and toolkits 8. Educate and activate teams in design thinking practice and implementation plus establish feedback channels to gather data, assess strategies, and share wins 9. Empathize and understand consumer mindsets, pain points, and emotions to help with the design process 10. Prioritize and drive IDN-wide collaboration to build consistent workflows through journey mapping and workflow analysis 11. Assist with managing transitions/changes in new and existing spaces through associate and provider playbook development 12.
